In a hospital environment, as well as in any other places where there is a restriction on free internet access, you may encounter a firewall block on any atypical connections. The Software needs to contact the server to authorize the licence key and to check for updates (Help->Check for updates). This connection may be blocked by the firewall.

Please ask your system administrator to allow the application Neurotrac.exe to connect to the domain neurotrac.emgsoft.info, as well as any other .emgsoft.info subdomains without restrictions. This should allow you to authorize the licence key and download any updates on demand. 

OFFLINE SOFTWARE ACTIVATION:

To activate your installation, please download the installer on another connected laptop and copy the installation file onto a USB memory stick. Use this to install the Software on your desired computer. During installation, you will see a screen as above. Select the "Activate on website" option at the bottom of the screen. Use another well-connected device, such as a smartphone to go to activate.emgsoft.info. There, enter the displayed PC code displayed, the licence key and your registration details and then press Activate. A new Activation Code will be generated on the activation screen. 

Enter the Activation Code on the installation screen and press Activate. This will successfully activate your offline installation.
