Exporting Raw EMG data

The Software enables to export up to two channels of raw EMG data to CSV format (comma separated values) which can be natively opened and managed by Microsoft Excel. In Excel you can analize the data further.

To record the SCV file:
In the software, make sure your EMG device is connected, open the Open Display protocol and press Start button on top of the screen. The rolling EMG graph you see on the computer shows the data which will be saved. Ehen you finished with the data gathering, press Pause and the graph will be frozen, no more data will be added.

Now, press Export to CSV button and all the EMG data from the beginning to the end of the paused graph will be saved as CSV file.

To Open the CSV file:

Select from the top menu: Reports -> Printouts and Export -> Open Exported Data. The folder will be opened, inside you double click on any .CSV file and if the Microsoft Excel is installed (or any other programme which opens .csv files), it will be opened in the following graphical layout:

The Excel file will show the sample rate of the recorded data (for example: 16 samples)  and this is a fixed value of the data rate available from your EMG device. The header will also show the patient's name, date and time of a record. Finally, the acrual Raw EMG data is organized in columns: column B for CH.1  and column C for CH.2. Each row in the table represents one sample. For example, if the data rate was 16 samples per second, you will see 16 raws per each second of record.
